This Privacy Policy explains how B.A.N. ("Application"), provided by evnttek.com and developed by r3y3s development, collects, uses, and protects your personal data. By using the Application, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

  • Account Info: Basic identifiers such as your username or device ID necessary to operate the app.
  • Contact List Data: When you grant permission, the Application accesses your device's contact list to allow you to block a selected contact for 3 hours. Contact names, IDs, and optional avatars may be temporarily transmitted to our secure server to support this feature. The data is not stored, shared, or used for any other purpose.
  • Game Data: The specific contact you block and your answers to the unblocking quiz (10 questions).
  • Chat Data: Messages, media, timestamps, and optionally shared location data are stored in the app's archive system after a chat session ends. These archives are private to the users unless law enforcement requires access for safety or legal compliance.
  • Location Data: Only captured when voluntarily shared in a chat. No background tracking or analytics use occurs.
  • Device & Usage Info: Basic logs for debugging and performance improvements (e.g., app version, crash logs).

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To enable key features like blocking contacts, chatting, and game interaction.
  • To archive chat sessions for future user access and safety auditing.
  • To investigate harmful behavior or policy violations if necessary.
  • To improve the reliability and performance of the Application.

3. Contact List Usage

We request permission to access your contacts for one purpose only: allowing you to select and temporarily block a contact for 3 hours as part of the self-control game. Only selected contacts are processed, and data is not stored or shared for any secondary use. Denying permission disables the blocking feature but does not limit access to other parts of the app.

4. Legal & Safety Disclosures

We may disclose archived data to legal authorities:

  • In response to valid court orders, warrants, or legal subpoenas.
  • When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to prevent harm or investigate abuse.

5. Data Retention

Contact data is discarded after use. Archived chats are stored as long as needed to provide access to users or to support safety review. Users may request deletion unless required to retain by law.

We apply reasonable security measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee 100% protection. Use at your discretion.

The Application is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
